Perla Aguilar is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She graduated with her nursing degree from Pima Community College of Nursing in 2007 and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2014. Perla did most of her pediatric clinical education with Dr. Bean and joined the staff in 2016.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Perla worked in the Pediatric Emergency Room and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Banner University Medical Center as a staff nurse for five years. As a Nurse Practitioner, she was part of the SAMS (Supervised Asthma Medication in Schools) program with the University of Arizona’s College of Public Health. Her passion has always been providing health care to children. She has a special interest in health promotion and disease prevention beginning from birth to adolescence.

Perla is the mother of two young boys. They enjoy swimming, the zoo, going on hikes and spending time together as a family.
